The process of enameling the tanks becomes important if heater tanks are produced with enamel. Highest quality enamel requires 180-400 micron thickness and inside the tank must be fully covered with enamel including pinholes and tiny areas.
Enameling process needs utmost care and to successfully covering enamel, the used galvanize quality, thickness and resistance should be appropriate for enameling.  Kodsan Kazan AS was produced first enameled quick boiler and enameled hot water heater tank of Turkey. Previously, Kodsan Kazan AS welds this process with 210 Ampere, yet they investigate this process to achieve same quality weld with 140 Ampere. Thanks to this improvement, they reduce transmission of Carbon and burning on galvanize surface, and improve sharply enabling quality

In order to successfully covering enamel, the oil on the surface of galvanize must be sterilized with acid and passivation must be implemented. This surface preparation will be provided by 6 or 7 tanks and all chemical substances must be checked in every hour. Moreover, the temperatures of the tanks and the duration of the products in thanks should carefully examine.
Enameling process is start after selecting appropriate galvanize, and producing tanks with accurate processes.  After covering enamel, it will be fired in desiccators cabinet with 860°C. The firing duration should be same for all surfaces; otherwise the enamel will be burned. Isolation is another important step for enameling process, in small products polyurethane is used and in large products sponge isolation or classic isolation can be used.

There can be pinholes in both enameled heater tanks and all boiler types such as quick boilers, super boilers and water heaters. Magnesium Anode, Aluminum Anode and Titanium Alloy Anode are used to prevent pinhole corrosion.
